Opus One Winery

One of the most luxurious wineries in Napa Valley, the Opus One estate is iconic and picturesque. The atmosphere was serene and unhurried, the perfect ambiance to enjoy the layered complexity of wine.

The tour kicked off in the Salon where we tasted the Opus One’s only white wine offering. The wine was crisp and the perfect kick start to the tour! After a tour of the production facility, where we learn all about the wine-making process, we stopped by the barrel room (perfect opportunity for pictures!) and we ended the tour at the Grand Chai, a beautifully designed tasting room, with a taste of the current vintage of Opus One. After tasting their current vintage, you realize why the wine costs $200 a bottle – it’s delicious!
