Wondering where Americans can travel now? In this article, I’ll keep an updated list of where it is legally allowed to visit if you’re an American citizen. Keep this page bookmarked to stay up to date on the current travel restrictions of United States citizens during COVID19.

Current Countries Americans can travel to NOW

If you plan on visiting any of the countries on the list below, please visit their embassy website for more details on what is needed at least two weeks before boarding the plane to the destination.

  • * = A COVID19 negative test is required for entry.
  • + = A self-quarantine is required upon arrival (amount of time can vary but is generally 14 days).

That is the current list of where Americans can travel now. Many of the locations require a self-quarantine of up to 14 days, which I think makes it unappealing to visit. Therefore, it might make more sense to explore the United States right now. If you’re never visited New York, you could visit there (as long as your state is not on the mandatory 14-day quarantine list).
