A New Hello Kitty Pop Up Has Just Opened in Chelsea!

Calling all Hello Kitty fans! Hello Kitty recently just celebrated her 45th birthday and part of the celebration included a fun pop up at the Cost Plus World Market store! This store is open now through December 24th at the Chelsea Pop Up Store on 18th and 6th Ave. It is a limited time only so head in before it disappears!
I stopped by the store last week and was amazed by the wide variety of Hello Kitty products. They had popular big-sellers as well as exclusive and “limited edition” items to Cost Plus World Market. One of the special items was their NEW Hello Kitty and Friends Collection designed exclusively for Cost Plus World Market. Some of the notable gifts I loved were the Hello Kitty pasta, plush toys, food items, and face masks. There is truly something for every Hello Kitty fan!
One of the first items I added to my cart was the Hello Kitty Pasta, tea, and cookies. A few days after shopping, my husband (the family chef) cooked a lovely Hello Kitty lunch with the pasta. He made a roasted bell pepper cream sauce to go with it. It was delicious!
For those that have not been to Cost Plus World Market yet, this year-round store has everything for your home room floor to ceiling; including rugs, furniture, décor, dinnerware, lighting and more. What impressed me most was that it is affordable for any budget!
I picked up a few Hello Kitty items. Since I travel a lot I got their Hello Kitty eye cover. It is cute and fun. Perfect for adding a little flare to a long, boring flight! I also got a pair of flannel PJ’s, a Hello Kitty mug, a box of Hello Kitty Hibiscus Plus Ginger Tea, pink Hello Kitty soy sauce, and a cute plush. They had plushes in a variety of sizes, which was fun!
The first thing I did when I got home from a night of shopping at the Hello Kitty store was brew up a pot of the perfectly pink Hibiscus Plum Ginger Tea, get into my pajamas, and nibble on Hello Kitty cookies with my Hello Kitty plush along side of me! It was a great way to relax after a long day in the city.
During the opening night event, there were also several photo opportunities with beautiful displays, photogenic walls, and Hello Kitty installations. As much as a love Hello Kitty herself, I was thrilled to also meet Keroppi. He is my favorite character because he is so darn cute!
This shop will be in the Cost Plus World Market located at 620 6th Ave, New York now through December 24. There are great gifts for Hello Kitty fans of all ages!
