Have you lived in one of the boroughs your whole life?
Then you might be perfect for this opportunity!
The Opportunity:
I'm looking for local New Yorkers from each of the five boroughs to share what makes their borough special in 30 seconds to 1-minute on camera. This will be used for my upcoming video "The Difference Between the Five Boroughs", which will premiere on March 11.
Only one person from each borough will be selected, so the better the response, the higher the chance of being featured!
Update: Please note that I already have an awesome local from The Bronx for this opportunity so that spot has been taken. However, I am still looking for locals from Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan!
The Task
Film yourself talking about what makes your borough unique in 30 seconds to 1-minute. The video should include a comparison of how your borough is different from the others.
Things to mention could be (but are not limited to):
- Accent - if you can do an accent from the borough that would be AMAZING!
- Why you like living there
- What you think your borough is known for
- Fashion
- Things to do
- Cost of living
- Culture
- Anything else you think is worth mentioning as a local
Example: I'm born and raised in Queens and we're different than the rest because we have the best Greek food, are the most diverse, and are more family-friendly than the other boroughs. The further out you get from the city the more likely you'll see people driving cars here. I love living here because....
Video specs required:
- Horizontal video
- 1080x1920 minimum specs (ideally 4k)
- Video of you speaking directly to the camera with no broll
